The day has finally arrived.

Today is the new launch of my Mixed Daisy Packs in gorgeous clear pillow boxes. They come in mixed lots of 8 daisies these are now available for the picking and a nice addition to my existing range.

How I attach my Handmade Daisies

(I often like to add a button to the centre of my Daisies, so I use a sharp needle - this needle is quite often used to sew leather - its rather sharp and has a beveled edge and makes it easy to get through to the back of the daisy and also through cardstock/paper.)

(This is a closeup of the "wrong" side of the daisy. Here you can start by threading some cotton/embroidery thread through the back of the daisy and then sew the button on. I then leave a length of thread at the back of the daisy and thread the needle through to the back of my card or layout.)

A few people have asked me how I attach my Handmade Daisies so I thought I'd show you.

It usually depends what I am attaching it to. If it is a card that I am giving away I would make sure it was attached securely. If it was something that I was keeping myself - a layout for instance then I probably wouldn't be as fussy. You can add a dob of glue and apply some pressure until dry - dimensional magic works a treat!!!!!

I must point out at this stage that there is a "wrong" and a "right" side to the daisies.

If you look closely you can see that the "right" side has the petals raised up and on the "wrong" side you can see tiny knots in the middle where I secured the thread when the daisy is complete. I always hide this side to the back of my work.

These 21 colours are Premium String and come in packs of 4.

Also available is the Standard String Multi-Pack of 9 mixed colours – Hot Pink, Bright Green, Aqua, Brown, Baby Pink, White, Lemon, Lilac and Buttermilk.

Well it's official

Yes it's official - I have now released my new range of daisy colours.

I must say a HUGE thank you to my friend Tara who helped me re-design my blog header ( also managed to stuff up my layout of my blog in the process and Tara helped with that too - phew!!!!)

I have gone from 9 premium string colours to 23 - yay!!!!!!

I am still stocking the multi-packs in the standard string BUT wait there's more!!!!!

The "more" part of the release is still in the fine tuning stage so you WILL have to wait for that one.
